Well known industry figure John Hart has been appointed as Executive Chair of Australian Chamber – Tourism.
John has 30 years of industry experience and has recently stepped down after 18 years as Chief Executive of the Restaurant and Catering Australia. John has served as non-executive Chair of Australian Chamber – Tourism and its predecessor National Tourism Alliance for 5 years.
James Pearson, Chief Executive of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said: “John is powerful advocate with decades of industry experience. John will be a strong voice for tourism, ensuring political representatives understand the importance of tourism to our nation’s future.”
