Innovative conference bringing women in business to the frontline of technology

02 May 2017 |

Hundreds of female entrepreneurs and business owners from across South Australia will gather at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Tuesday 27 June for Mobile-ising Women in Business, a national conference series designed to inform women of the latest digital innovations to help drive their business.

Today the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Business SA is pleased to announce the event’s return to Adelaide in 2017. The keynote speakers at the event will be trailblazing author, Tara Moss and drone technology expert, Catherine Ball.

James Pearson, CEO of the Australian Chamber, said: “Mobile-ising Women in Business returns to Adelaide after a successful 2016 event that brought together industry leaders, global influencers and thinkers and people at the forefront of change.

“More than 15 million Australians own a smartphone. Through Mobile-ising Women in Business, South Australian women will learn how to harness the power of this technology in their business to improve productivity.

“This conference will go beyond mobile to explore the digital innovation frontline. It will help business owners to understand the impact of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, the Internet of Things and human development on workplaces and practices.”

Nigel McBride, CEO of Business SA, said: “Mobile-ising Women in Business is a practical way to understand and develop strategies to harness the opportunities presented by new technologies.

“We are delighted it is back for a second year in South Australia, with a new line-up of speakers and topics. All South Australian business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to the conference and can book via the event website.”

Further speakers to be announced.

Mobile-ising Women in Business is part of Biz Better Together, an Australian Chamber initiative to improve productivity in Australian workplaces.
