The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes Ben Lazzaro’s appointment to Chief Executive Officer of Australian Made.

“The Australian Chamber is a founder and proud champion of Australian Made and has been working closely with the organisation to promote Australian business for many years,” Australian Chamber CEO, James Pearson, said today.

“The decision to appoint Mr Lazzaro is a good one. He has a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Australian business in an increasingly competitive world, engages well with Australian Made’s many stakeholders, and is skilled in the contemporary marketing and communications required to get the Australian Made message across.

The Australian Chamber acknowledged the longstanding and significant achievements of outgoing CEO, Ian Harrison.

“Ian has been a business stalwart and staunch promoter of Australian Made for many years, whose advocacy and passion for local products and services is much admired. On behalf of his colleagues and many friends in the Australian Chamber movement, I wish him all the best,” Mr Pearson said.

Australian Made Campaign Limited is a not-for-profit public company, established in 1999 by the Australian Chamber and the network of state and territory chambers of commerce, with the cooperation of the Federal Government.
