Australian Chamber – Tourism, the national peak body of Australian tourism organisations congratulates Prime Minister Morrison and the Federal Coalition on its re-election to government.
“We look forward to working with the re-elected Morrison Coalition Government to promote and strengthen Tourism in Australia,” John Hart, Executive Chair of Australian Chamber-Tourism, said today.
“We welcome the reappointment of Senator the Hon. Simon Birmingham as Minister for Tourism and are pleased that Tourism continues to be given prominence in the Morrison Government.
“Minister Birmingham is a senior cabinet minister who has already represented Tourism well in the senior ranks of the Morrison Government.
“His commitment to working with industry and the Government’s comprehensive election policy statement which included Tourism, positions the Minister and the Government well in their third term.
“Australian Chamber-Tourism has a strong working relationship with Minister Birmingham and we look forward to the announcement on the Beyond 2020 Strategy on the back of the Coalition’s commitment during the election campaign to support the outcomes of the strategy.”
