Australian Chamber-Tourism Chair appointed to Tourism Australia Board

Australia’s largest and most representative business network, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes the appointment of Australian Chamber-Tourism Executive Chair, John Hart as a Director on the Board of Tourism Australia for a period of three years.
“The appointment recognises both John Hart’s expertise and the role that Australian Chamber-Tourism plays in coordinating the industry voice. With more than 30 years in the tourism industry, John’s experience and knowledge will contribute to the work of Tourism Australia in promoting our country as a preferred tourism destination, to the benefit of people in our regions and our cities,” Australian Chamber CEO, James Pearson, said.
“I am confident that John will continue to serve tourism well. He is a great advocate for Australian tourism and this is an opportunity to support both its further growth and for Tourism Australia to take advantage of the network and ideas that originate from Australia’s peak body of tourism organisations.”
The Australian Chamber is Australia’s largest network of employers, speaking for over 300,000 businesses employing millions of Australians in every sector of the economy.
