Video Briefing and Q&A with Michelle Baxter, Safe Work Australia chief executive

Michelle Baxter, chief executive  of Safe Work Australia joined the ACCI WHS&WC Committee for a Safe Work Month briefing. Michelle provided insights into how the SWA Member structure works, the progress of the national WHS Strategy and explored topical issues like sexual harassment and the gig economy.

When asked what the key challenges or focus areas for 2023 look like she responded with “continuing the work on psychosocial risk, tackling the new normal and what flexible work means for some industries”. ACCI thanks Michelle for her time and committee members for their questions and conversation.
