The Ambassador said Australia’s diplomatic priorities in Washington included pushing Congress & state legislatures in the US to reduce red tape & other barriers to Australian businesses seeking to invest in America.

This zoom session with the Australian Ambassador to the United States of America discussed President Joe Biden’s First 100 Days in office.

At this conference, the Ambassador provided his overview of the Biden Administration’s economic priorities and objectives, covering trade and investment policy and economic relations with Australia. He gave his thoughts on the 46th President’s efforts to reshape policy with a narrowly Democratic Congress and its impacts for Australia, moving through & beyond the Covid-19 recovery.
