ICC Australia National Policy Committee Meeting
ACCI held the ICC Australia National Policy Committee Meeting with special guest speaker Paul Hubbard, acting deputy head of the Simplified Trade System Implementation Taskforce on Thursday. Paul provided a brief overview of the STS followed by a short Q&A.
The ACCI trade team provided a summary of Australia’s current trade negotiations such as IPEF, CECA, Australia – EU FTA and Australia – UK FTA and ACCI’s upcoming submission: on Simplified Trade System Taskforce and the Export Market Development Grants Scheme.
Trade team updated members on ACCI chief executive officer Andrew McKellar’s recent engagements in Geneva and Paris, including those with ACCI’s international partners, ICC secretary-general John Denton and BIAC executive director Hanni Rosenbaum.
Mark Mangan and Hari Janakiraman sequentially provided updates on the upcoming activities of ICC Australia Arbitration Committee and ICC Australia Banking Committee.
