Annual Wage Review 2022-23

The Annual Wage Review takes place at an uncertain time for both the global and domestic economy. The Expert Panel (‘the Panel’) faces a number of complex challenges in determining the outcomes of this Review. It must be wary of the downside risks of any increase in minimum and modern award wages in an increasingly fragile economy which faces headwinds of high inflation, slowing economic activity, and continuing labour and skill shortages.
