Steve Hatzis is the Administrative Assistant for the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Australian Chamber), the peak national body of employer organisations in Australia. He is based in the Melbourne office.
The Australian Chamber represents Australian employers in national employment and industrial matters, including workplace reform, workplace relations policy and national test cases on wages and conditions of employment.
Steve joined what was then the Confederation of Australian Industry in 1990 doing a variety of jobs including data entry of surveys from our Chief Economist, administrative duties including answering inquiries and providing support to various staff members.
Prior to this Steve graduated from the Chisholm Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Science. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Multi Discipline) degree.
Steve became Publications Officer of ICC Australia, the Australian branch of the International Chamber of Commerce, when the Australian Chamber took over the administration in 2008. He would sell International Chamber of Commerce publications including Incoterms upon request.
Currently he provides support to the Workplace Relations, Work Health and Safety and Corporate secretariat.
