Video Conference with Senator the Hon Amanda Stoker, Assistant Minister to the Attorney-General, Assistant Minister for Industrial Relations, Assistant Minister for Women

The Federal Government has announced its response to the Respect@Work Report. The Report by the Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins provides a set of recommendations for preventing & addressing sexual harassment. It also highlights that the Australian Government, states & territories, employers, & industry groups all have an important role to play in supporting cultural change & creating safe workplaces.

Senator Amanda Stoker Assistant Minister to the Attorney-General, Industrial Relations & Women, addressed the Government’s recent significant improvements to Australia’s industrial relations framework & the next steps with respect to building on these reforms. The Minister also discussed her recently expanded portfolio including the Government’s response to the Respect@Work Report and the new Cabinet Taskforce focusing on issues such as women’s safety, economic security & leadership.
