Video Conference with Peter Harris, Chief Executive Officer, National COVID-19 Coordination Commission

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced recently that the COVID-19 commission will be renewed & will provide advice on the implementation of the JobMaker policy, which canvasses sweeping changes to industrial relations and vocational training in the wake of the pandemic.

As Chief Executive Officer of the National COVID-19 Coordination Commission, Peter discussed the role of the Commission along with its priority areas of work and where he sees the Commission heading considering the Prime Minister’s recent announcements. He also drew on his extensive experience as a senior public policy adviser, including Chairman of the Productivity Commission (2013-18), to share his insights on the opportunities and challenges COVID-19 presents to the Australian economy.
